Thank you Dr. She has no symptoms. The scan shows a dime size mass.
Hi,
How is your daughter? What other symptoms are present? Orbitalmass in children may be attributed to a variety of issues including cystic lesions of the orbit, vasculogenic lesions, such as hemangiomas or lymphangiomas, inflammatory lesions, adipose-containing lesions, osseous and fibro-osseous masses, tumors and pseudotumors. Diagnosis will depend on the symptoms as well as the result of the surgery and biopsy. It is best that you discuss this with her doctor for proper evaluation. Take care and do keep us posted.
