Possibly cancer?

Hello there!

Recently i noticed, what i believe to be a mouth ulcer but i am unsure, and I am worried it could be cancerous.

To be rather honest its not painfull at all when i touch it (Apparently there supposed to be VERY painfull) and it is rather small as far as i can tell. However, where its located is wierd. The front bottom set of my teeth, at the back of them on the gum (Dont know how better to describe it) which means its quite hard to see and im yet to be able to actually find it by looking in the mirror.

Could this be cancerous or just an infection?

Quick notes: I am using some sort of Gel my mother bought and wherever this gel touches (On the ulcer or the tounge, etc...) it numbs it off. (Basically pain reliever?)

Any help/info would be appreciated.

-Thanks.

Just a quick update (its me Xtreme610) the ulcer is completely gone!

Seems like it was just an infection. Im due for a checkup in a couple of weeks with the dentist anyway so a official confirmation will be nice incase i missed anything.

Your dentist should be able to tell you exactly what it is. Good luck!!
