Hi,
You would have to get a copy of the report and then post it out here. Bone marrow replacement sounds a little confusing.
A biopsy of a lymph node is done in case of suspicious lesions, or evidenceof lymph node involvement or definite signs of malignancy or the lesion appearing cancerous on clinical and biopsy examination.
Just carry on regular breast self examination and repor any abnormal features to your doctor and do follow up with a MRI in 3-4 months or when your doctor advises you to.
Hope this helps.
God luck.
Thanks,
My biggest concern is the "bone marrow replacement".....not sure what that means. Dr. just said nothing to worry about.
Breast Lump was removed during biopsy. No biopsy on any Lymph node; should there have been? My GP thinks so.
Hi,
You should try some OTC pain killers and see if they help.
It would also help to try some breast and neck exercises and warm compresses. This should help decrease the pain.
As the breast lump is benign, it just requires regular breast self exams and periodic evaluation by your physician.
Follow up with your doctor in a few months and see whetehr the lump is still there.
Hope this helps.
Good luck.
