Small hard lump in scrotum

Hi,

I recently noticed a small lump in my scrotum on the left hand side. It is about 3mm in diameter not on the testicle itself, but above it, in amongst the mass of tubes where the enter the body, to the left of and behind of the base of the penis.

It seems to be part of one of the tubes there and is hard like cartilage.

I cannot locate a similar lump on the right hand side so I presume it should not be there.

Do you have any ideas what this could be and should I go to see the GP?

Not sure what it is, but any suspicious lumps should brought to the attention of your GP right away. It's always safe then to be sorry. Keep me posted if you can. Take care
