Swelling and bump under arm

Hi Drs.,
I have seemingly a swelling of my armpit area, it is actually on the
side if you will, and it seems larger than the other side, it hurts on
and off depending on the position or what I am doing, and in the actual
underarm, I notice maybe a small lump, certainly again different that the
other side.  Any thoughts on this?

Hi,
If you have had these lumps in the axilla for four months now, then you should definitely get an FNAC done.
Good Luck!

Thank you Dr. for the reply, it is helpful.
I noticed the sore outer part of the underarm area about
4 months ago or so.  It is noticeably larger than the other
side.  The smaller lump under, I'm not certain.  I personally
think it's been there longer, but maybe not.  My family physician
thought nothing of it, and not that I'm the expert, but this seems
abnormal to me.  I have had a swelling of the lymph near the
lung before, but it subsided.  Thanks again very much.
The best to you as well.
