It is normal for the kidneys to enhance symmetrically on CT.

Hello and welcome to MedHelp's forums.  What prompted your having the CT scan of your kidneys?  Homogeneous in medical terms means of uniform structure or composition throughout.  Were they looking for a mass? This would mean that they are seeing something that is more uniform than varied in imaging.   This could mean almost anything at this point and further follow up with your doctor is essential to understand your specific results.  Here is an overview on the subject: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3259318/

Please do let us know when your follow up is with your doctor and a few more details as to why you had the test.
