Hi,
How are you? Prostate cancer, being a complex disease, makes it difficult to predict whether it's growth is fast or slow. Predicting and monitoring the disease entails evaluation of several factors such as using markers that will identify whether the cancer is low risk (slow growing), intermediate risk, or high risk (aggressive). High-risk prostate cancer is likely to spread quickly outside the prostate. It is best that you discuss this with your attending physician for proper evaluation and to ease any doubts. Take care and best regards.
Hello,
Prostate cancer is a relatively slow-growing type of cancer. Bone metastases are more common with prostate cancer. Almost 70% of people with advanced prostate cancer have bone metastasis. The involvement of skeletal metastases may indicate poor outcome. If you are doubtful and anxious it is best to discuss your concerns with your doctor. I sincerely hope it helps.
Best wishes and kind regards!
