Hi,

There can be many causes for his symptoms and at this point it is not possible to pinpoint the diagnosis. You should consult a pediatrician for a thorough physical examination and necessary investigations for your child to diagnose the reason for the lump, the low iron and the pains.

All the best and God bless!

Hi,
Does he have fever? Is he eating well? Is he active and energetic? Has he passed worms in his stools at any time? Has the doctor discussed with you the possible causes for his anemia? Lymph nodes in the neck can enlarge due to various reasons. The commonest cause in children is infections in the ear, nose or throat area. A course of antibiotics may cause regression in such cases. However if they do not regress and no infection is apparent, they need to be investigated further with an FNAC or a biopsy.

All the best and God bless!
