moms 1st chemo

my mother has her 1st carbo /taxol treatment for ovarian cancer on Friday.  Today is Monday and for the last 2 days she has been exhausted, barely able to get out of bed, only eating a little.  She will not even be on the phone with me.  Are these normal side effects? should I be concerned?  Thanks.

Thank you both for your comments.  My Dad is with her and doing his best to help her through.  She did send my Dad to the grocery store with very specific requests  for food so I guess that is a good sign.

One of the main things to be concerned about while on chemo is keeping weight on.  She needs to eat as much as humanly possible while she is on this (if she can keep food down).  She will need some assistance through this as Londres70 said. Good Luck and God Bless your mom and family.

This is very common after receiving chemo treatments.  Is there someone able to assist her?
