by the way, i am not exactly sure which type of hpv i have but i know it was one with no warts and aren't thoe mor prone to turn into cancer???
I am no longer taking the depo but i only have had one shot in my entire life. it was just for the surgery. do u have any theory other than this??? thank you for your opinion
Hi. If the vaginal bleeding is really heavy, I think you should consider consulting with another gynecologist sooner, rather than waiting until April 1. I'm just concerned that your condition might worsen while you're waiting for your doctor to return. Are you still taking depo-provera? If you're not, I suspect that an abrupt withdrawal of that hormone could have precipitated the vaginal bleeding. But this is just my theory. I don't think that your HPV infection has anything to do with the bleeding. If you're thinking of malignancy as a possible cause of the bleeding, I think that this is highly unlikely. Cervical cancer takes years, even decades to develop from the original HPV infection, if at all.
