white tongue with bumps issue

Hi, I have developed white tongue and bumps at the back for more than 9 months, the lateral border of my tongue is abit white but doctor said it is not candida or leukoplakia. is it a possible sign of oral cancer? I'm worrying because i kissed an unknown girl deeply, could it be hpv causing cancer?
