george

well my george not well. he had trouble passing urine, then started to act tired and laying around. Last week tho he passed some funny looking things. he is showing signs of kidney failure, but not sure that causing the wee thing. think it be crystals from the bladder now block his tube. he is nearly 18. and i adore him. hopefully get him back tomm.

I'm sorry to hear that. Losing a loved one is never easy, and words are generally just...words. hopefully in time you can come to peace with George's passing.

My cat just gacked a hairball in sympathy (all right, probably would have done it anyway. :)  )

We'll be thinking of George over the weekend-

A tough one in a cat that old.  Urethra blockage hits almost every male cat that lives long enough!

It's good they are treating him aggressively.  It is a dangerous situation, especially for an old boy like that.

haha haha . i see him today he not eating much. but he a fussy cat the best of times. he got a drip and a catherta in. they flushed his bladder out and gave him medication. so got to wait until tomm to get him. and see how he goes over the week end.

I hope George is feeling better tomorrow.

Probably your vet will give you new diet instructions so George doesn't have these problems in the future and you'll have him back home in his ol' rocking chair grumbling about how kittens today have no respect for their elders! :)
