7 wk old male kitten diarrhea and peeing all over

What do I do, the kitten is put in the cage (litter, food water and bed in it)  when he pees on chair floor toys blanket.  Has diarrhea for a week and uses the litter box sometimes, but find diarrhea in a corner of the room.  Distended belly, had been for a checkup two weeks before.  Taking meds for earmites and is eating wet cat food, drinking plenty of water.  Please help

ear mite meds he is on.  the litter box is cleaned twice a day I do have a natures Miracle spray for anywhere Chet decides he wants to do potty.  At the vets he was given liquid meds for any parasites just in case.  He is only allowed out of his kennel when I can watch him, little terror with his butt lol

did the Vet check for parasites? a distended belly isn't normal and he needs to have this checked out.
and what is he on for meds????
many meds can cause diarrhea.

if he is having pain in his bowels and possibly can't control his bowels either.

how often are you cleaning the litter box? some will refuse to use if they don't like the litter or if its full.

also if he accidently pee'd in  a spot it will need to be cleaned with an enzyme cleaner to remove all traces of the scent(remember kitties have a much keener sense of smell that we do)
if they can still smell it they will 'think' its a litter box and keep reusing.
you can get good enzyme cleaners at Petsmart or other pet stores...not the grocery store. good names are Urine Off, or Anti Icky Poo or Natures Miracle. wash and clean with one of these so kitty doesn't pee on the same spot again.

but I do think he really needs to get that belly looked at and a check for parasites, he is probably feeling pretty sore.
is he soon done with the meds? this could well cause the diarrhea too...
