My kitten has a Bald spot on it's foot... It's like dry but flakey!!! It's near the toes!! What wrong with my pet!!!
Heh heh... well, I'd get him checked eventually. We've got a "Mighty boy" here too who is borderline hyperthyroid, We never catch him eating, which is disturbing because...how did he get so big?!?!?!
He's getting over a recent thyroid region infection, so I suppose we're going to have to take steps to get him into a kitty aerobics class...wouldn't it be grand if he just got Big AND buff!
I guess it would be near the knee joint. If his foot sat flat on the floor it would be where our heal is? He is just one year old, but is a very large boy! Not overweight, just mighty!
Do you mean the are right after the rear toe pads (where the toe joint is) or the area at the "knee" joint? Is this an overweight cat? Hair loss on the second (knee joint) area can be a sign of hyperthyroidism. You should consider getting him checked out, especially as kitty gets older.
