Cat with grain allergy.

My little red tabby Dunkin has a grain allergy.  My vet recommended Natural Balance Duck and Pea Formula, he's been on it for years now and hes had no break outs.  Now Natural Balance has been bought out by Del Monte and I'm expecting the food's quality will go down.  So I'm looking for a new grain free food that will keep him break out free.  I have tried Blue Buffalo but his face blistered within 2 weeks of eating it.  Any suggestions?

I got my girls eating more canned food, minced or paté only (no gravy or sauce), as these are much less likely to have a lot of grain in them.

don't you just hate when that happens....same happened to an excellent company Natura that got bought out by Proctor and Gamble....
That said, you don't necessarily have to stop the Nat. Balance just yet, keep reading the labels and watch for changes...

but I will send you an excellent article by Dr. Pierson on canned foods and carbs...if you go all the way to the end of her article you will find her list on NO carb and Low carb commercial foods...
