I think I'm going to try to teach my cats english. Or perhaps I'll get better at speaking cat. It would make all of this so much easier for us, if they could express a bloody opinion instead of just giving us the "silent stare". :)
I screwed up with my first cat too (well, screwed up is to harsh a term for what we both did). But, we hopefully learned from it.
Glad to hear it wasn't a big deal.
Thank you Savas. So far the eye seems fine. The day I noticed the tearing I posted my question. I guess I got a bit ahead. Now his eye looks good. Perhaps it was either my impression or him being sleepy. I read your post about the cat you took care of but still died. I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. I don't know what I'd do without my cat, and I can only imagine that you were actually there, helping, and nothing...I'm sorry. I, too, lost my beloved dog 6 years ago. I still cry for her, and miss her with all my heart. She would be alive if I had taken better care of her. I was too stupid to notice she was poisoned and not even the blood coming out of her genitals inspired me to rush her to a vet. I feel guilty. I feel like I killed her, and maybe, just maybe this is the reason I'm always overprotecting my kitty sooo much. The most insignificant thing I see I make a big deal out of it just because I'm scared of losing him too. My negligence and ignorance killed my best friend once. It will not happen again this time.
Thanks for the response.
Heh heh (yay happy kitties!) ...I'd keep a watch on it. Kittens can explode into eye infections over night, and this is the starting signs (although it could just be nothing).
If it starts to get coloration or there's redness and swelling, take him in immediately.
