not his stomach honey, its his bladder...and this will keep happening if you feed him dry food, be sure he gets a diet of canned wet food and plenty of water avail at all times....:)

yes....if there is a blockage the clinic is likely flushing out his bladder which will get rid of the crystals temporarily....otherwise he can be in a life threatening situation...
he should be fine with the flush and afterward being on a wet food diet...

I warn you the Vet will try and PUSH their prescription diets of dry food...like Hill's or Royal Canin...do not believe them. read all the article I sent you and NEVER FEED dry food no matter what the Vet says...read and you will learn and understand WHY...

best of luck to kitty:))

I am sending you a whole site with tons of info on Urinary Tract Health and just what CRYSTALS are....read the full article...all the way down to the heading Crystals to help you understand what is going on.

Crystals are formed in an 'acidic' environment due to lack of sufficient water in their diet...namely feeding dry foods.
switching to canned wet foods is NECESSARY to prevent further episodes of a blocked urinary tract.

read the full article....good luck with your kitty, and PLEASE start him on a canned food diet as soon as he returns home, start slowly a fast switch to wet food can cause diarrhea for a few days...
