Do your cat enjoys be "packed for voyage"?

Hi friends.Furry family dont let me sleep properly but I'm still on the road :-)
As everybody here knows cats are in love with cardboard boxes.But my kids not only like playing inside - they like if you close the box with her inside!
First time I noticed that was when one of then was in her bed and I covered her with the pillow.For my surprise, she didnt run off, she liked!
Now I guess I could close and mail the box for you without claims... For sure I can only comment this here, cos its not safe not cat friends knowing the fact  :-)

whoops I can't imagine a hotel bed.  ROFL

Lucy likes to pull down the cover (felty stuff?) on the bottom of the box springs and crawl up in there.  I figure as long as she's not doing any damage other than the felty stuff she's ok.  What's really weird is when you don't know she's in there and she starts to move.  You can feel her- it's creepy.

ok any body ever had to cut open your couch to get your cat out cause it crawled in side it at the uper back of the sofa. mine did twice. i had to remove the cushins and cut a hole and pull the fabric back to get her out. whats the deal with my cat. she hasnt done it lately. but why do they do that?

I wish my Tweety was more affectionate like that , she seems very independent and does want to sit on the sofa with us much in the evenings ...she was a stray I wonder if that was it...

Stardust like it when we lay on her, she will purr and play with your head.  She thinks it's a game.  She loves to be shut in boxes as well, when she finds a new box, she will come and get us and show you what she is doing.  She will meow until you are watching and then she will play in the box.  Almost like she wants to show you what she is doing.

Mine hides in the curtains , she will roll up in the part that hangs to the floor ..

Hey, hon, nice to see you!  Jade loves her cardboard boxes and doesn't mind being completely shut in.  She thinks she's hiding.  We have two boxes that are almost too small for her with both the front and back cut out like a tunnel on one and the other, just the front and she likes to go in head first and just stay that way with her tail sticking out - like we can't see her! lol.
