Growth on cat tail

My cat is about 12 years old and ever since I can remember she's had an abnormal tumorous growth at the very base of her tail. For years it went untouched until the past couple.  The vet has told us it is not possible to perform surgery since it is in such an awkward spot and a tail removal may not even clear the problem.  He said since she has been fine the cancer, if cancerous, has remained contained and not likely to spread.  Here's my problem,  she continuously licks it and bits it causing bleeding.  I apply polysporin (according to vet) as well as cleaning the area. It appears red, with puss as well as dark spots within the growth.  Recently she has been at it so much im trying to wrap it daily, but even thats hard as you can imagine wrapping something at the base of a cats tail... (I cut the hair around it) Any suggestions as to what I can do to help it and/or make her stop touching it... Thank you!!! I'm in a sticky situation

Hi there, I'm just reading this forum now. My 13 year old cat has 2 lumps at the base of his tail and one has an open sore on it (abcess), the vet gave him antibiotics and thinks the other lump is cancer. the sore is not healing even though i put peroxide and benadine on it. I'm willing to try anything. Has this Nzyme stuff worked for you?

Wow sounds like that stuff has been a miracle worker for you and your family. Thats amazing.  My cat had a rough time last night, she bled on one of our sofa's.  She doesn't seem to touch it during the day, but at night she's tempted I suppose. I may have to attempt wrapping it up again tonight. But she always manages to remove it. I haven't noticed any change yet since i've begun using the Nzymes, I have hope though.

Take care and thank you for your suggestions

I saw improvements by the second day on my Dane's nose.  The papiloma was rapidly growing, looked like a piece of pink califlower.  By day two, the area started to get grey,
it looked like it was dry; then by the fourth day a top layer started to lift off.  I kept the 3x a day, using a cotton ball.  By the next week it lost another layer, and now there is nothing growing back.  He started another couple of growths on his eyelid and they were
just in beginning stages.  Did those too and nothing has returned so far. It has been about 3wks since I stopped.

Now as for the cat's absess in his mouth.  Within a couple of days, The swelling went down on his front cainine, don't think he will loose that one at all.  Back teeth are much better too.  Some decay has already started there so they might need to be pulled. Zeke
doesn't like to open wide for me so it takes two of us to administer and you have to be very fast.

I am not a vet, but I really believe this will help your cat.  You might want to add about
8-10 drops to his drinking water.  That way he will injest it internally.  It is meant for internal or external use.  Don't be afraid it is for humans as well.  If your kitty does have
cancer, his immune system is compromised.  So you need to keep him from getting sick.  They also offer a granule supplement to put in his food.

I've had cancer myself and know how important it is to keep resistance built up.  I have also taken this med. I have a toenail that kept getting thick.... guess what.  It worked on
it too.  I take about 10drops per full glass of water about every other day.  Put the granules on my cereal in AM, kind of nutty.  Dog eats it too.

I hope it works for you cat.  Can't hurt, I know that for sure.  Remember to dilute it to 2% read the label  around a 1/4 tsp per 2oz of water, I think.

Please let me know how you do or if you have more questions. my email is ***@****.  I am not afiliated with Nzymes, just happened across it in my own net surf.
Take care,   Nadine Jacobs
p.s. now my husband has me putting it on his brown spots that are popping up from too
much sun as a youngster.  Some are starting to show signs of change, that is good.

How long did it take it to go into effect? Any other information would be useful

Here is something you might check out.  A product called Nzymes Ox-e-drops.  You can find it on the internet.  My Great Dane was diagnosed with animal papiloma on his nose, my vet said to leave it alone, but it kept getting bigger and bigger.  I just felt something might be able to help him and went on line.  Well I got a bottle of Nzymes
at an pet store, you might have to call around or the website was able to  to tell me who
carried it in my area.  I was amazed at the results; within a week of putting it on  3x a day, the whole wart fell off.
Next catastrophe was my cat, found out he needed teeth pulled.  His poor little mouth
was all swollen, cats do not like it if you look inside.  Again, back to the vet.  After $200
antibiotics, and suppose to wait 3 weeks to get into to have teeth pulled.  I decided to
try the Nzymes and squirted the diluted 2% solution. 2x a day.  Cat didn't like taking the
antibiotics but would let me squirt the  Nzymes from a dropper to rinse his mouth. Within
the first week, swelling is gone.  Teeth stopped falling out, and breath much better.
I'm sure the antibiotic helped, what I could get in his mouth, but I know the Nzymes had
a lot to do with the healing.

This stuff is anti bacterial, anti fungal and anti viral. for internal and external use.  You might give it a try, if nothing else seems to be working, I would bet the redness and puss
would cease for sure. It would be soothing on his skin.
My cats upper canine was red and swollen and vet said it was reabsorbing the tooth.  His gum is back to normal and can eat his dry catfood without and problems, other than the Dane sneaking in a snack of it.
May not stop cancer but at least will let you administer to the infected parts, it has a healing power and does work fairly fast.

Hope this helps, let me know.
