HamBone needs your help again, Please!

HamBone disappeared for 7 whole days.  We were worried sick - and just when we were beginning to accept that he wasn't coming home, we found him.  He was so dirty and skinny and he was simply starving to death.  He was so happy to see us and kept meowing.  When Michael picked him up, it was like such a relief to HamBone - it seemed that way because HamBone simply collapsed in Michael's arms with a deep sigh.  Hammy ate two entire cans of food within his first 6 hours of being home.  Then .... it all began!  He meow'd a screeching type of meow and pooped on the carpet under the bed directly in the center.  He's NEVER done that!  To top it off, I've NEVER in my life smelled anything so horrible.  He's been home for 3 days now and is only getting worse.  He's wheezing so bad, has difficulty breathing, and also sneezing and coughing.  He has nasal discharge and his nose is hot to the touch.  He's very lethargic - but he wants to eat anything and everything!!  He's gotten picky about "where" he'll poop (for example, it's basically like he yells out in a horrific MEOW and Michael has to literally take his litter box over to him!)  And, the smell ......... it's so bad!... so bad!  I've started Lysine like before, but he doesn't seem like he's getting ANY better at all.  I don't know what to do for my little guy!  Please help me....

The reason Hambone seems to be getting 'picky' about where he poops, is because it's hurting him to 'go'.  He is associating the pain with the litter box.

Vet ASAP!

Hi Sheryl, you should get Hambone to the vet ASAP!  Like tonight!  After eating nothing or only God knows what for 7days, your boy is probably suffering from Fatty Liver Disease from lack of nutrients and should be hospitalized.

Good luck!
