Has open wound on right side of jaw-HELP!!!

First some back story: Cat had an abscess, took it to the vet. The abscess drained, went back to the vet, gave us some antibiotics. After abscess drained, the cat irritated it a bit, a flap of skin came off revealing tissue, and bone on the right of the jaw/mouth. We went back to the vet, said she couldn't bandage it since it's literally on the mouth, and therefore couldn't eat. Also can't stitch since there's no skin to stitch together.

My main question is there any way I could bandage it, or dress it for a while abd then take it off when the cat wants to eat? I will post pictures.

The cat is still somewhat active, and still eats even with the revealing wound. The vet said it might be cancer, but were not sure, and I thought they were just guessing. Will get better pics, the wound is in a hard spot to take a picture of. The wound now might still be oozing, but isn't related to the abscess.

Oh My!  Poor baby!
Think he needs to see emergency vet hospital. They will have more experience with this type of wound.

Should definitely still be on antibiotics with an open wound like that and probably a soft cone around his neck so he cannot scratch it. It should get air so a bandage needs to be with breathable no stick gauze.

Again I am no expert and would take your baby to an emergency clinic, and ,make sure he stays indoors, and stays on antibiotics.

Others may have better suggestions--Hope so
Praying for your little one
