I have a nursing female cat, she has 2 large sores on her upper lip.

Could this be from licking the pee and possibly feces from the kittens still? I found her as a stray and have contacted the local spay health clinic, but have a couple of days to go. Money is an issue unfortunately. She licks the gravy around the food when I feed her. I can tell she is starving, but it has g0t to be incredibly painful, what type of ointment can heal this?

Hello.
I know it's been a long time.  Please forgive me.  I would have told you to go to a vet or wait until the spay clinic could look at her.
Could you please let uhs know how things went with the kitty girl?

Blessings,
  Melinda
