Improving my Cat's mom vocabulary

After a long time studying English and having my Proficience certificated here, sometimes I got stuck with some words I NEVER knew and I need for my basic pets needs.
For sure I already had a good progress on this,now I know about be spayed, neutered,stray and feral ones...
Here goes some I remember at this moment,could you please tell me how do you say:

1- Cats without a identificable breed or mixed breed = ? ( here they are called SRD,initials for Without Definite Breed in Portuguese)
2- Medical adhesive tape we use for patches and so =? (like Micropore)

It just dawned on me.  SRD in Portuguese must be the same as DSH in English.  In English the abbreviation simply means:  Domestic Short Hair.  That's actually what my cat is.  The coloration of my cat is called chocolate tortoise shell.  However, the coloration is not a breed.  The coloration is often called calico as well, but the term "chocolate tortoise shell" is more accurate or more refined as to what kinds of colors are in the calico coloration.  It's really the same as saying that your cat is a black cat.  And, in English "Domestic Short Hair" (DSH) simply refers to a non-specific breed of shorthair cat.

Here mutts  are also called Viralatas ( can tumbers) but its not a word owners aprecciate very much :-)
About the MICROPORE - dont you have a word for the tape that its Not a trademark?
We do "esparadrapo" -any brand can be called this way.

Btw, whats the word for "small flexible sticks with cotton both ends" ?

The most common term for mixed/no definite breed in the United States is Domestic.  It is typically combined and abbreviated with a description of the cat's coat.  The most common is Domestic Short Hair, abbreviated DSH.
