Interesting standoff...

The balance has been over the last several weeks...

Miss Teia Honey is Queen of the downstairs Sunroom/Dining Area and Kitchen.

Miss Hildiekatt moves easily through all areas.

Miss Chesapeake has possession of the upstairs Bedroom and Sitting Room.

I get home and have to referee...

Miss Teia is in the doorway to the upstairs bathroom.

Miss Hildie is a few steps up the staircase.

Miss Chessie is on the landing halfway between.

After about 1/2 hour (with the aid of a painting of Buddha as a barrier) balance is restored.

If I could understand the invective that the girls hurl at each other in these situations, I think I'd blush.

That is pretty cute.  Yeah, it's a good thing they don't speak English when that is happening, isn't it. There are times when Akira is saying things to me that I'm sure I don't want to know what she is saying in English.  Even her former owner thought she might cuss like a sailor if she spoke English.  Just dare to shift positions when she is on my lap or just dare to tell her I need to get up.  You would have to laugh if you heard her express her opionion about that.

yeah they sure have their own pecking order don't they...my two boys just 'tolerate' each other....except for last night,I was nearly asleep and  I heard this loud screech and ruckus..I took off running, but found blonde Sami hair  scattered all over the hallway and living room. Nemo was hiding, I had a hard time finding him. Sami was sitting there just terrified to move.. Nemo the smaller of the two had attacked him, he's only done this 3 other times in 8 yrs...mostly when he's really upset abt not getting his own way(food wise)...today things are back to normal, however Sami is sure ***** footing around and can't say I blame him, only his pride was hurt:((

Hahahaha! Oh NO! That is too cute! I have 6 boy kitties and there are times that we have to referee but I will say they have adjusted well to each other. But they each have their favorite sleeping spots and God forbid should one of them take it. World War III is commenced! Beener is defiantely the alpha male-senile or not. I wish you all the best! ((hugs))
