Missed Miss Teia's Birthday
On 21 December, the semi-famous Miss Teia Honey celebrated the end of 18 years on Earth, and the beginning of her 19th year.
She is sleeping next to me on the couch, breathing slow and easy, eyes slitted, head drooping...
Teia is doing well, I think, for a kitty girl of such senior status. Her vet visit 2 weeks ago showed no new problems and that her existing kidney weakness is no more severe.
She and the boys survived us being gone the better part of 7 days (we went to New England for Christmas, for the 1st time in a few years). Our next door neighbor visited every day to make sure her food bowl was full and pee pads were changed. The boys were confined upstairs, I put a screen door up in the hallway outside the master bedroom. Cooper and Buff had the master and guest bedrooms, plus the master and guest bathrooms. They had enough water and kibble for 3 weeks.
If Missy T continues on this way, I fully expect her to see the 8th anniversary of her Adoption Day next June.

Btw - I dont know whitch one ( us or xray) is cheaper now since the price changes much depending on the kind of...

I strongly agreed with this idea , i just loved it was given a mouth ago.Its quite expensive but would be my next step if she refuses the normal caned one again
My sugestion of giving her one analgesic ( just to know if she was or not in pain) was refused with a well fundamented argument that is not good give those for a cat in fastening

Cherry vitamin started today and I have to tell ya I was absolutly ceptical about - even being one with something supposed to estimulate appetite .She spit, slobered and make noises - but lick small portion of wet food later on...Maybe is just coincidence - but I hope no...
Rotten tooth I wont believe, but today a was talking with Marcelo and he began to wonder about a sore troat...
I ask him to watch her but today he was only do a surgery and go home.He said" mike does,I talk to him about" Mike is the one that its not exactly ToP TEN there and I am too much tired to be back at the clinic today.Considering she licked the wet food ( Hope wont be spoiled - I started not caring very much about times on fridge - lolo ate without clain) I decided for waiting til tomorrow

Also...please insist your Vet inspect Joy's mouth thoroughly! A rotten tooth is possible, and would cause Joy to hesitate to eat. xo
I see, this cherry is vitamins, yes? Not going to hurt, but I doubt this is the answer to Joy's problem.
And btw, how does your Vet know there isn't a blockage w/o an US or Xray? Just because he 'thinks' there isn't one?

Apple, please INSIST on an US before any more blood work. If you haven't already, explain to the Vet you only have very little m
oney. Not to mention the fact, you don't have a car and bring Joy (and the others) by walking with her in a heavy carrier.
Hoping the issue is diagnosed soon!

Hi Apple...I know money is scarce for you, but can you afford an xray? Sounds like maybe Joy has a blockage. Prayers for your sweet girl.

Dr fabiano doesnt fell like there is one.I already asked him about a US ( looks like an us is cheaper rhan xray-I cont know why)

full of mistakes, sorry. Another possibilty that makes some sense for me is something wrong in the mouth but I just cant notice the problem - and no vet her really examinate a cats mouth if you not ask him ( ou is evidently need)

Wondering about giving liver ...Without rice cos Im sure she wont eat that - she never ate rice.

Humane vitamine taste as cherry - not very interesting for a cat.Maybe I buy a pet one Glicopan...
Its a damn hot weather here and taking her vet again will increase her stress as well .Not to mention money

Dr Fabiano didnt like Glicopan.Bought the one cheerry taste but started using another I found home , also for pets
