Hi my cats r doing fine but one of them was missing his name was Sasha he's back now someone found him but he came back in cuts but they are healing gizmo is doing fine is it normal for her to be sleeping more? And the rest of the cats are fine
How’s Gizmo doing? And all other cats, any updates?
Thanks every one for replying
Yes! Too bad I can't edit my post.
I so hope it’s not something serious, I'm just like any other cat/pet lover, you want your furry friends to be healthy and happy.
In that case, I think it’s normal, it’s fairly common in cats to have small quantities of blood in their stool, sometimes mixed with mucus.
I'm glad to hear she enjoying her time!
Best of luck, and keep us posted.
I will do what u said and I will put them in a different room I have to get another litter tray coz I have 4 cats an I have 3 litter trays lol.
And now u want to hear how gizmo is going on she is doing fine she is resting in her own bedroom the vet said she is about 3-4 weeks into her pregnancy she Is doing very well
It is the first time that my cats have produced blood in their poop
It is not frequently and there was not a lot of blood it was just a little
Yes all of my cats have been dewormed and also my cats eat wet food and tinned food ( gizmo the pregnant one eats pouches it is also wet food )
In order to find which cat is showing blood--you will have to isolate each one with their own box in separate rooms. UNLESS you have access to watching each time one goes to the bathroom and actually see the one it is from.
As Opus said a fecal sample should be given to your vet. Just put it in a baggy as soon as they are finished. I know Yuck, but it needs to be done. Your vet is used to receiving these little "gifts", LOL!
Bye the way --How is Mama Gizmo doing?
Thx for adding that GM......
I hope it's NOT* the pregnant cat, and nothing serious.
Bloody stool can indicate different health issues. You can say it’s not entirely unusual for cats to have a bloody stool, AS LONG AS it’s no frequently (once in a while) or a lot of blood, that can be serious.
To be exactly sure, you need to know which cat was bleeding, if it was the pregnant cat, then check if she bleeds while pooping, if so: it’s normal for pregnant cats (constipation probably), but if it was while peeing then it might be a sign of miscarriage.
Good luck, and I hope it's the pregnant cat.
Have yr cats been dewormed? Blood can be a sign of worms, but do NOT deworm unless the Vet has checked the poop first...take in a sample. If needed the Vet will give you some meds for all the cats to take
Can also be an allergy to one of the ingredients in dry cat food, when I occasionally give my one cat a dry food with grains he will get bloody poop
