Please Help

My cat (male) is 9 months old and my roommate is prescribed vicodin. Her tolerance is low and can only take half of a pill at a time and when she cut it, the half (that she wasnt taking) had a few pieces crumble off the edge. She accidentally left it on the counter and he licked up some of the crumbled pieces (they were very very small). He is my everything and I'm just trying to make sure he will be okay without having to pay 75 dollars to talk to someone on the phone just to ask a question! please please please get back to me and let me know any thoughts!

NEVER GIVE HUMAN MEDS TO ANIMALS UNLESS YOUR VET TELLS YOU TO!!!!  I cannot express this enough.  It is obvious that you love your cat, and he should see a vet ASAP.  This is never a waste of money!  How would you feel if you didn't use that money to see the vet and he died?  Better safe than sorry - Blu

vicodin is a narcotic with acetaminophen, if I were you I would call an er Vet. acetaminophen alone is highly toxic and lethal to a cat...this can destroy his liver or kill him. and I'm sure the hydrocodone can cause similar...
I would get help asap....and PLEASE let us know how he makes out.
