Siamese cat with constand diarrhea

Hi, we have a siamese cat which we rescued when he was a kitten, ever since we have had him, he has had continual diarrhea, does anyone know what is best to feed him to stop it, we have paid a fortune in buying him the best foods, taking him to the vets and still the situation persists.  We also have another kitten whom we rescued at the same time and she never has the problem. Thank you.

No prob...I get the impression some cats are sensitive to the ash content that's in most cat foods. It's supposed to be good for them (and some ash is) but sometimes "people food" is what you need to do the trick with a "special cat".

Many thanks Savas, we will try your diet and let you know how we get on.

If your cat has persistent diarrhea, you can try changing her diet. You can try boiled rice, cottage cheese (no lactose!), bread, plain yogurt, boiled chicken, chicken broth or strained meat. Choose the ones your cat prefers.

this is what I usually tell people with cats with this problem. I hope you haven't tried it yet (sounds like you've thorough) as I'd like to think it may help!
