Sick? Mad? Sad? What to do?

My boyfriend and I own a tuxedo cat, Lucy, we love her dearly and has always had an attitude but nothing that isn't manageable. Yesterday she started stalking my boyfriend and going after him. He talks to her she hisses and growls. She did get after him and scratched him. We left for a couple hrs, came home and she still hissed at him, but was fine with me. We went to be she walked over the two of us, and sat there and watched him. Eventually she fell asleep at our feet. In the morning she seemed to be normal with the both of us... He fed her as normal, held her as normal, and I left for work as normal. Then a couple hrs she started back into the hissing and growling, watching.

Idk what to do? Or what's wrong? He spends the most time with her the the past appeared to love him more then me. Except for now, randomly?! Help.

hi and welcome, this sounds really odd that your kitty should turn on your bf all of a sudden....especially if you are sure there has been no aggression towards the cat that he should be acting defensively. I wonder if your bf has been around dogs or other cats and has their scent on his clothing? something is spooking her.

I have this article on aggression that may give you some clues....good luck
