You should be fine with letting her out. We took three strays and had them done, we put them in a spare bedroom for one night, by the next night they were out, and after that they all seemed fine. It should be ok, the only thing I think would cause any problems is keeping her away from her brother, they need to be together, that's how ours were, always together.
How wonderful that you're able to do this for a feral cat. In addition, it helps prevent more cats being put down because of the population explosion. I love it that you're doing what you can. It's a little bit of help in a big problem. You've helped in your small area of where you live.
Gosh thats wonderful ... I would let him see her at least he must be very distressed..it must be so distressing also for the female caged .I would let her out soon . If you do decide to wait at least let him see her ..good luck
Sorry I forgot to mention how long ago she was spayed- I took her on the 17th of Feb & picked her up the same day- today's date is Feb 20th.
Thanks for the encouragment- It is difficult to know your "puting them threw this" But it is also rewarding to know there will be less kittens to be with out a home or end up hurt outside or in a shleter to be put down simply because they were born.
a huge pat on the back for you for going above and beyond for these kitties!!
you didn't mention exactly how long ago you had her spayed? 2 days 3? what?
IMO....I would wait at least 3-4 days before letting her out just to be sure the incision doesn't become infected also that she doesn't get out there and play too hard and open something up.
she is no doubt crying b/c of being caged and not used to the loss of freedom...
