I read online about ACV for cats, humans, and even dogs but I always wondered how safe it was. Have you used it yourself Jane?
Sooner the better. Apple cider vinegar helps with urinary issues. Also, a lot of these things happen from grains in the food. I hope he is okay now. I know how painful it can be.
I have two cats, Lacy and BooBoo, I call them twins but they are very different. BooBoo has to be on different food than his sister. He also has to eat different portions b/c he has all sorts of issues. He was blocked once and now they are saying he may have trouble with kidney stones. I've had to switch him to wet food to be scheduled so he won't overeat! It's a real pain because of work. Boy do I get the money thing. I am paying a pet sitter to stop by once a day right now to feed him and it's adding up QUICK. Wish there was something I could say about your kitty. I hope he's okay. What are you feeding him?
Hi Blue, nice to see you. I wish it was under better circumstances. My cat had issues with bladder/kidney also. What sort of food are you feeding him? I had to change to a food for cats who had this problem. Please talk with your vet and tell him/her that you cant afford the procedure and ask if there is any type of assistance. Please let us know what is going on.
HI BLUE,
Please do not give up on him! Take him to your vet and tell him you can not afford to have him unblocked again, but he is too young
to have to put him to sleep. Ask them if they will keep him, unblock him and allow him to be adopted out by someone who is in a better financial situation for his care
Please take him now though, do not let him suffer!
Please let us know how things work out. Vets do not usually want to put a cat to sleep if they can adopt him out .
Hope all works out,
Cml
So sorry to read this, but take him in as soon as possible...see if the vet has a payment plan.
