What type of worm is this?

So my female cat Nemaura has had intestinal parasites for a very long time. It seems to be on and off, the vet said it was tape worms based on the description I told them. I have gotten fecal tests several times and it always comes back negative, so when my cat poops there's nothing in the poop. But if it sits for a couple of days there are hundreds of little white worms squirming around in her feces.
I've tried the tapeworm medication 3 times, they always came back, im honestly not sure if they ever went away honestly. After that I tried a medication called drontal that is supposed to get rid of all types of intestinal parasites. I gave that to her a few days ago, and low and behold there are still little worms hatching out of her poop.
The medication says to wait 3 weeks before the second dose is applied, so Im waiting but just baffled that there are still worms in her feces.

Here is a photo of the worms I took just yesterday.
Could someone help me identify what these may be based on the symptoms and failed attempts to exterminate?
Also my cat is very bloated and sometimes has blood in her feces.
She used to be constantly hungry but recently her appetite has been a lot more normal.

that would be great....litter boxes really need to be cleaned every day...otherwise they grow bacteria and other nasty stuff..

if you are feeding dry food, that is quite possibly the cause of the blood in the stools, dry food is so full of additives/preservatives etc...that many cats have an allergy too...thus IBD symptoms...

My one cat was on a dry food prescription diet...just for one feeding a day...supposedly to help with the tartar on his teeth, well it did NOT and gave him very bloody stools that all stopped once I discontinued the dry food and fed only wet food for his 3 meals a day

good luck

Although it doesn't explain the blood in her stool...

Thank you. I appreciate your responses. I clean it every 3 days or so but will start cleaning it more often.

Hi Mez,

Yes I would say they look like maggots.....and if you are letting poop sit around for days that is what is going to appear. That is probably why the fecal tests came back negative. If your Vet said it SOUNDS like tape worms and gave her a de-wormer, without confirming it by tests then those meds should not be used.

I suggest you remove the feces every day. Then you will not see the maggots. Also have your cat back to the vets and check out why he gave you a de-wormer, when her tests came back negative.

Litter boxes really need to be scooped out everyday.....is that where the poop is or does yr cat go outdoors.
It maybe maggots or worms from the poop sitting and not anything yr kitty has
Always take these poop samples into a Vet to be verified, don't keep deworming until yr sure, these chemicals are very harsh
