Why do cats bleed?

My cat is an adopted and we leave her freely to have outside and this her fifth month after pregnancy and from today afternoon she is bleeding

Do you have access to a veterinarian? It sounds like she should be seen.

You are saying it is her fifth month "after" pregnancy, do you meanshe had kittens five months ago? Do you mean bleeding from a bite, or from her vagina? Do you think she has come into heat again? (It's possible, but it would be a good idea to keep her in if so, since it would be hard on her body to have two litters in such a short time.)

Also, is she still nursing anyone left from her litter, if she had kittens five months ago?
