Why is my kitten's butt red?

Okay so I get a kitten who looks a little sickly but she eats, plays, uses the restroom, and sleep good. Only thing is she's got clear discharge from her eye's and her but looks like it's got a little red stuff coming out or just looks pink. I know what your thinking I should take her to the vet but right now my parents are low on money and won't take her to the vet, They she's fine. I mean she plays a lot but she always wants attention and when I pet her and hold her she meows a lot also she's six weeks old. Long story short she and a couple of sibling were dropped off at a persons house so yeah. But i'm worried about her or him I don't know yet. Just wish I knew if she's going to be okay. I mean she's eating hard food. Playing a lot. So yeah I hope someone will help me with this just really worried.

Do a web search to see if there is a low cost rescue type clinic in your area.  Even a low grade infection, untreated, can be permanently harmful to a young kitten. There really is no other answer.

Thank you for the comment but she's perfectly healthy now and I did get her to vet when she was a little older but she's great cat and I love her very much I had to take her to a vet to make sure everything was okay before I could get her spayed and vet said she was fine and she is now 9 months almost 10 months and is perfectly healthy and happy and loves to be with me. I wish I could put pics up of before and now.
