of course i i have thought of what to do with the litter big or small..i actually feel quite insulted..thx
I agree....please have homes ready before you decide to do any breeding, there are far to many unwanted kittens already.
breeding a Himalayan and a Siamese won't give you any specific breed, it will just dilute both breeds and may end up with throwbacks from either one or the other, since Himalayans already have the Siamese dna.
I urge you to leave breeding to the ones who (sometimes) know what they are doing.
How old are they?
Breeders typically introduce a breeding pair only when the female is in heat or very shortly before that. Sometimes a male who has regular contact with a female on an ongoing basis will not mate with that female. If you are really intent on breeding them, you might try completely separating them for a week or so before she goes into heat and then reintroducing them as soon as she goes into heat.
I hope you have though out what you will do with the litter if she does conceive. Shelters are full of kittens whose owners realized can't care for them and can't find other homes for them.
