Yes, you need to get kitty to the vet. If you are in Dallas, they have some wonderful resources for pet owners to use.
My MewMew is highly allergic to fleas and will scratch herself raw if the fleas find her and start living on her. Her ears and face were so scratched up 2 years ago when I adopted her that the vet was the first place I took her. Fleas don't only hide in long hair, they will go for the nose, ears, and around the eyes to get their nourishment....
Please let us know what you find out after your vet visit...

I agree with opus88's suggestions. Poor little kitty. You need to take
your cat to your vet asap ( as soon as possible). This is very important
so your vet can examine your cat and find out what's going on and
what is causing the scabbing and the bleeding nose. Please don't delay.
Take you kitty to the vet as soon as possible. Eve
I can't tell you whats wrong, only a Vet and tests can confirm wht it might be. I can guess that is MAYbe eosinophilic granuloma or rodent ulcer...this can develop anywhere but particulary on the face, lips or mouth...I will send you a link to a post that was done earlier...open and read the links within that to see photos and more explanation. get back to us after you've read. Its important to feed a wet grain free diet b/c this is mainly due to food allergies and grains are a huge culprit...
