cat pregnant brown pee?

just got another cat off the street and i think she may be pregnant. i took her to the vet and he said he wasnt sure if she was. he said she either is very early on or she just had a litter. she is starting to have a tummy and it seems like it gets bigger every day. the vet said to go back to him in one month to check again.
anyways i have another cat at home and she is very shy. so when i brought this cat home she is always hanging around my bedroom door just curious wanting to know who came into her home. so i have to be careful every time i open my door so they do not touch each other because i do not know if this new cat has FIV. (getting her tested this saturday). but she slipped out once and scared my cat away didn't touch her but when i picked the new cat up there was a little pee and this brownish red liquid on the floor. what is that??
i checked both cats. there are no open wounds. nothing. i checked all over them and there was nothing.... so im thinking this came from the new cat when she peed..... but why was there brownish red liquid in there.... ?

she is drinking and eating fine i spoke to the vet on the phone and he said to just watch her and nothing has happened again so i guess she is ok... but im not sure what that was about and he didnt seem concerned... which i dont know if im ok with... or if i am overreacting. her tummy is still big i am not feel anything in it but then again i dont know what i am feeling for. i have an apt for the 24th so we will see then. thank you for all your help!

well it sounds like it needs investigating Mary maybe has a UTI is she drinking okay ?  ask when you go for the test on Saturday ..
