for 36 years I had one Kip for 17 years and he was very affectionate two I had gar for 18 years and he was very affectionate.  Both cats understood what I said to them. Now I have 2 female cats that are 2 years old  That aren't a bit affectionate and it is driving me nuts.  I would never give them up but miss this from a cat. Any suggestions?

Sorry for the type errors.  I meant I would seclude the cats in seperate rooms. Spend time with each alone. If they become more affectionate then unite them again.

I would try secluded her in a small room with just you for a couple of weeks. I did this with my siamese and had great results. She didn't want anything to do with me at first and slowly she came around. Now she follows me all around. She is now very affectionate but only on her terms. Hope this helps.
