I'm soooooo happy OK so like we gt my cat to started eating again quit a long time ago, like some odd weeks, and yeah she's all better, but now she's pampered my dad gave me all of the credit because I kept on pushing him to get medicine for her stomach and so one day she used eating again if any one else has the problem with their cat there is a medicine used for heart burns that will get rid of some of the stomach acid and that should help the pet to be able to eat again

We went though this last year with our beloved Silver Kestrel the Ransacker, who we most always called Kessie.  She was very sick with a cancer in her belly and stopped eating a few days before we took her in for the Final Visit.  Kessie was just a little over 12 years old.

That your kitty is over 17, speaks very well of the care and love you and your family have given her.  Take her to the vet, sadly, it may be time to let her go into that Long Good Night.

That you write, shows me your heart, and one day another fur person will come along.  No one kitty ever replaces another, each of the 15 that have been in my life is a distinct individual, those who are gone and the three with us now.  Each has given me something special and some I have had to make that last, loving decision.

Take care.

Hello there,

BluCrystal is a friend of mine and what she is saying is true. Your kitty
is very sick. If she hasn't eaten in four days, drinking only milk, you
need to take her to your family's regular vet. The fact that your darling
kitty has lived to the age of seventeen years means she has gotten very
good care from you and your family. As Blu said to you, nothing lives
forever. It's always hard to say goodbye to a beloved family member
which your kitty definitely is. Your kitty is suffering. If all she has been
drinking is a little bit of milk, she may be dehydrated. This is serious.
Your family needs to take her to see your vet immediately. Your vet
will tell you and your family what he or she thinks would be best for your
kitty. Your kitty is suffering. You love your kitty. She needs help from
your regular family vet. There is a chance that your kitty is so sick the
kindest and most loving thing your family can do is to have the vet put
her to sleep. I know how hard this is. I've had to have two of my darling
furbabies put to sleep because they had cancer and they were suffering
and because I loved them, I knew it was the kindest thing I could do for
them. Your vet will allow you and your family time to say goodbye to
your darling kitty. Do this sooner than later because your kitty is in
distress and probably in pain. Love her enough to let her go in a loving
way by allowing the vet to put her to sleep. Blessings to you, Eve :)

Aaawww, iam sorry to hear that your cat is so sick!  Have you talked to your parents about this?  If not, you should as soon as you can.  Your kitty is very old for a cat.  You should know that nothing lives forever.  Your old friend may be trying to tell you that she is ready to go be Jesus's cat now.  I am sorry to say these things to you.  I know it hurts to hear this and you are upset about your kitty.  She is too old to be able to survive any kind if vet treatment.  She is suffering and not having a good time anymore.  Talk to your parents about taking her to the vet 'for the last time'... it is more loving to let her go than to allow her to suffer.  You can prepare a special place to bury her, then.  Put flowers around it, and make a 'headstone' saying her name and how much she is loved.  You can also ask God to take her and let her rest in His lap.  My prayers are with you, and again, I am sorry.  Blessings - Blu
