Fur inside the cat eye - the best proceed to take?

It happened 2days ago. I tried to clean it out with a tissue but uncessfuly.
Wondered if I'd better using physiologic solution or a eye drop vet prescribed once.
Or just doing nothing, just waiting for and calling vet if things get worse.
It seems to be solved by itself.
Hints for new episodes?

I do have this kind of eye drop here,it was prescribed by a vet to another cat once.I would have used - after checking validity time,of course- if her eye were getting irritated or so.
This things only happens on weekends - I wondered it would be "paranoia" calling emergency vets for asking this...

Sure.  It is safe to use artificial tears (made for people) on cats.  Use this to rinse the eye out.  Blessings - Blu

Hi there,

I would take your cat to your vet so your vet can take a look at kitty's
eyes. Fur in your cat's eyes could cause irritation, maybe infection,
but definitely irritation. I wouldn't use a Kleenex in a cat's eye.
Let the vet advise you what to do and if need be give you an eye
drop solution specifically designed for kitties. You have to be very
careful when putting eye drop solution in a cat's eye that the eye
solution hasn't expired.

Well, is the hair really irritating your cat? If it doesn't look like it is, or it isn't affect it's sight then you may not need to do anything.
