vomiting - is my kitty out of remission?

my cat has been in remission from lymphoma for about 6 months (after having a terrible time with aggressive chemo). Recently, she's been vomiting again - mostly bile - but it's gotten to be more forceful as it goes on.  She vomited 1x last week and then last night it happened twice.

I know that if the vomiting started it could be a sign of her cancer returning, but she has no other symptoms at all.  She's actually gained some weight and has a lot of energy.  Should I be concerned and take her to a vet immediately? Or should I watch her for a little while longer before making an appointment?

I hesitate to put her thru chemo again since it turned her skin almost black and she was so nauseous - barely ate anything.  Could there be any other cause for the vomiting?  Do cats get allergies that can cause vomiting?

thanks for the advice!

thanks for your note, which confirmed what I knew I should do. Just didn't want to put her thru all the testing again....but she's now hiding under the bed all the time, so something is clearly wrong.

Haven't been feeding her anything different -- but also she has stopped vomiting this week so I started to feel like things were getting better....but for peace of mind, I'll need to take her in. thanks again.

hi and welcome, I will suggest you take your kitty to her Vet to get this checked out, any sudden onset problem like this after a cancer diagnosis can't be left unexplained...I sure hope its nothing but both you and kitty will feel alot better after doing everything possible to be sure...
allergies are not usually associated with vomiting, have you been feeding her something different recently?
good luck, please keep us informedā™„
