10 days post op

29 yo female. Had the decompression and C1 laminectomy surgery August 15 and the first few days went really well. I was told the surgery went perfectly and only spent 2 nights in the hospital. I did have a couple pressure headaches like i had before but they didn't worry me too much in the first 4 days. Recovery sucks but compared to so many of the stories I've read on here mine seemed to have been going very smoothly. I've had my second PT appointment today and the headaches are back in full force. Is it possible they pushed me too far and now there's a CSF leak or I've re herniated? I'm freaked out that I've put myself through this surgery and now I've messed it up or something.

Anyone have any insight?
I plan to call the hospital to talk to the nurse tomorrow.

Surgery was at Emory Hospital by Dr. Daniel Barrow

Hi...WOW only 2 days total in the hospital? I was in ICU for 2.5 days then off to a regular room for 2 more......

Sounds like you may have over reached what you should be doing at this point.....I was told PT but not this soon post op and I never got there and then was told it was a good thing I didn't go.....not sure I remember just why at the moment but I do remember my Dr saying it was for the best I did not go.
I did however do the exercises I was given in the hospital several times a day every day and I know they helped me with my recovery....and I did use heat before and after the exercises.

May I ask, what did they have you doing?
