2 weeks post-op: i am feeling great!

my decompression was 2 weeks ago. i had a bit of nausea a couple days after i was released but that has gone away. i have begun to feel soo good! i haven't taken any narcotic pain meds in days.. but still regularly taking acetaminophen and ibuprofen just in case. i've gone shopping 2x this week already! i started cleaning around the house too.. just small things here and there. my husband has been great at fetching me things as i need them.. but not so well at keeping things tidy. maybe i am just particular about how things are done! but anyway, with shopping, i have to take it super slow because i have to make sure not to strain myself in any way.

other than all of that, my shoulder muscles are just a bit sore so i've been using a massager around them, making sure to protect my incision the entire time.

hope you are all doing well.

the only exercises i've been doing are moving my head left to right, leaning to the right and left and looking down to stretch my neck muscles. is that enough? i didn't really get any instructions.. but do remember looking at the photo you had posted.

my neck doesn't feel as tight as it did day 1 so i hope i am doing it right.
