How many deaths have happened because of the Chiari decompression surgery?
I just wanted to know because my brother will be having the surgery soon.

Hi and welcome to the Chiari forum.
We do not have those statistics....but many times a result of death post op was dealing with someone that was rushed into emergency surgery or having a Dr that was not well informed or experienced with related conditions AND it is the related condition more so then the Chiari surgery causing that outcome.
Let us know your brothers surgery date and we can add him to our Prayer thread.
