Post surgery head rushes.

Hey,
I am 20, male. I had this double bundle ACL reconstruction surgery a couple week ago. I was given anesthesia in my spine. I made a mistake and had a heavy breakfast a couple of days after my surgery and then had severe nausea and headache. After a complete bed rest for 35 hours I was able to walk and come back home the other day. Now I am getting these head rushes after every 10-20 minutes. They are certainly very minor but I am still worried. And this experience has frightened me and I am still wondering when to get started with  a proper diet. Please help me out.

Hi and welcome to the Chiari forum.

I am not sure what type of surgery you are indicating with the abbreviation ACL....since this is the Chiari forum.

The meds used during surgery and post op for pain can cause all sorts of stomach distress when eating and may take time for it to all settle back down.

The "rushes" are not something I can comment on since I am not sure of your meds, or your surgery....but would suggest you call your Dr and inform him/her of these symptoms.

Please let us know what you find out and your progress.
