8.5mm Chiari Malformation

I had a car accident and was recently sent to the e.r. They discovered my 8.5mm herniation, my question is how can I get treated if I don't have insurance. I get paid minimum wage and i'm currently in college. Is there any programs I can attend? I'm located in Los Angeles Ca and help will help me! I have all symptoms but no insurance ;(

Hi and welcome to the Chiari forum.

Without INS I doubt u can get the proper care.....but u can try to be accepted into a clinical study.... u will have to look to see if u qualify for current studies....but that is the only way I am aware of.

If u do not qualify for current studies, u will want to check it time to time to  see if new studies are opened.

Hi.  You might want to apply for benefits with the state of California. I don't know your financial situation. Or file a claim on your ins or the other parties ins. You may need a lawyer. Just a thought
