Appointment 8th In Leuven

Thank God, my appointment is Monday.  I have found out that this NS group has a Prof. who specializes with Chiari in Leuven, Belgium.  It has been difficult to find someone/a NS here r/t it is illegal to advertise.  Someone in this forum from Belgium was kind enough to give me information; she was a God send.  

If anyone in the near future needs help in the Belgium area, please contact me; we can work together.  I am willing to share my good and bad experiences, offer as much guidance I can, etc.

I'm really sorry to hear that...I know I felt that way too, like I was going to have to die first before anyone noticed.

Like Shannon said, keep on pushing until the right person comes along...it is so frustrating I know...

It sounds like by what he said that he is going by the size of herniation, a good NS knows that it isn't the size that matters. I really pray for you that you will soon find the right one..

Well, the NS states I have no Chiari's and that my tonsils sit low but still in a normal range.  Basically ended the visit saying "everything is normal; there is nothing I can help you with."  Then he just had to ask me another questions; this is the one that I really didn't care for.  He asked if I was "homesick for the US"  and maybe this is why I am having the symptoms I am having.  What he really meant to say "you are somatic and probably crazy."  Well, back to square 0.  I think they will really understand something is wrong when I crash or die.

I pray this all works for u and that when u research the drs , u r comfortable with them.

That is so great, I am so happy for you that you are finally getting somewhere!!

It makes me so happy to see that both you and Stacy are making some progress! I remember being in that exact same position of trying to find someone to listen and it is so frustrating.

That's why you have to hold on and keep fighting...eventually the right doctor will come your way!
