This is not a question, but I wanted to post my blog on here for other people to read if they wanted to. I had a hard time finding a chiari blog that was kept up to date and was current, so I wanted to start one not only so that i could have record of everything, but also so that other people could read my story and see that they are not alone in this fight. This is the blog I started in April. So far it has my entire health history and I hope to keep it up to date as I continue the battle of figuring out and treating my health issues. I hope everyone is doing well!

  Thanks for sharing....I started my journal on here, but I am not keeping it current.....it has my surgery and things up to surgery.,...but since I am on here and talk to people daily I didn't feel the need to repeat....

This is a nice way for those of us that do not get to talk with u on a daily basis to see how u r doing.

Thanks Selma! School is going very well. I did well with my three classes in the spring and am only doing 1 this summer, so that is no big deal. I am doing 5 classes in the fall (15 credits) so we will see how that goes....

I am hopeful to keep the blog up to date even just as a record for myself! So much happens that i found it even hard to write about what has happened up until now. I hope you are still doing well :)

  Thanks, I am doing pretty good right now....staying inside as we have a heat wave going on for the 2nd time this summer, I am trying to keep with my quilting....and after that I have a few other projects I want to start.....

I forget what u r going to school for....lol...I am sure u r not surprised...Chiari is  always robbing me of things I know I was told just can not pull them out of a hat for the life of me....lol...

I know I am trying to avoid the heat as well!!! POTS and heat do NOT get along well. Haha I am in Chicagoland so I just am not used to this heatwave! I'm glad you are getting into your quilting, I know you love that!

I am going to school for speech-language pathology, with a minor in deafness rehabilitation. I will be done with my undergraduate next may if all goes as planned! Then on to my masters! Haha and I am gettin married next June also so lots of exciting things next summer, hopefully my health cooperates :)

  Oh my well Best Wishes to u on ur planned nuptials....do u have all ur things planned out, ur gown and flowers?

I love all that as that is what I did for over 20 yrs, I was a florist and a wedding consultant....I had fun doing my DD's wedding....from the bridal shower to all the fresh flowers....and I made her head piece....

She is much taller then I and I knew she would never be able to wear my wedding gown, so I took lace from the bodice and made a fasinator and a separate veil....for my first attempt I was quite proud and it had the vintage look she wanted....

Ur major and minor both sound very interesting .....and commendable.

Will u get ur Master's at the same college ur undergrad is being done or will u go elsewhere? My DD got her Master's at NYU.

U sure do have a full schedule ahead of u.....

I am glad to read you are doing good.  Your majors do sound very intersting.  Also, congrats on the upcoming marriage.  I was born in Chicago on the west side.  I am getting ready to read your blog.  You can read my journal.  It has everything up to when I went to work in Jan.  I am getting ready to update it agin cause in six days will be a year post op July 25.  That day is a good one and bad one at the same time.

Thank you both! I am very excited for graduation. I do not know where i am going to go to grad school yet. I don't think it will be the same college though.  I think I am going to take a gap year between the two as well.

Haha Selma I haven't solidified ANYTHING for the wedding yet. I was in complete denial when i wasn't feeling well and just didn't want to work on it. Now we are starting to get the ball rolling and are working on save the date cards and solidifying dates and locations. From there i hope the ball just keeps on  rolling.

Congratulations on your one year anniversary frankie! I haven't made it to that point yet, not until December 21. I hope you feel as if you have improved since then!
