Constant pressure

I live in rural Missouri and am having a hard time finding a doctor; who can help.  Nerve blocks aren't enough and the prescriptions make me sleepy and non able to function.  The pressure in my head is intense and constant neck pain.  I lay down a lot because it feels better then.  Any suggestions .

Hi, I'm from rural MO too, Hillsboro. You need to at least see a NS at BJC who is experienced with Chiari. Call there and find out today! I'll be glad to talk with you anytime.... Lisa

  Hi and welcome to the Chiari forum.

May I assume u have a Chiari DX?....and u have had testing to rule out related conditions  such as syringomyelia, ICP, POTS, CCI,sleep apnea, disk issues, tethered cord and ehlers-danlos?

We do have a list of Drs here for u to use to research Drs....u may not find ne on the list in ur area and may have to travel...many of us do, but it is well worth it to be with a Dr well informed and experienced with Chiari.

Some Drs know about it, and others are experienced, educate urself so u will be able to know which one is best for u,
