Searching for a doctor in or near Alabama

Hi, i am new to this community. My name is Mark and i live in Ala. I have chiari and had surgery back in June of '08. Dr. Micheal Rosner did my surgery but he is no longer in practice. My question is if there is a doctor in or around Alabama that understands Chiari. Thanks, Mark

Hi.  I was diagnosed with Chiari in October and diagnosed with Syringomyelia in December.  My decompression surgery is scheduled for April 6th.  I live in Alabama as well.  I use a NS in Birmingham.  He's great.  His name is Dr. H. Evan Zeiger, Jr.  He's wonderful!

Hi Mark...check out our specialist thread...I will bump it up ...and research the drs.It is a shame what the medical board did to Dr Rosner, but he still is a plus to have had around.

U may need to travel tot get to a true specialist....and not all on the list may be a true specialist or even listed.So u may find a dr in ur area we don't know about.The list is comprised of drs that the members here have been to and liked : )
